How To – Enable Plus Addressing

Applies to: SmarterMail 6.x

Plus addressing is feature that allows you to automatically filter incoming email into folders without pre-creating the folders or filters to deal with them.

Follow these steps to enable plus addressing:

1. Log in to SmarterMail.
2. Click Settings on the main toolbar.
3. Click the Settings navigation pane.
4. Expand the My Settings folder.
   
5. Click Account Settings in the left tree view.
6. Click the Plus Addressing tab.
7. Select the appropriate action SmarterMail should perform to plus-addressed emails.
8. Select the Enable Plus Addressing checkbox.
9. Click Save.
