How To – Export Smarter Mail Contacts

Applies to: SmarterMail 6.x

Contacts can be exported in an easy fashion in SmarterMail. Contacts are downloaded as a .zip file containing vCard files. These can be imported into Microsoft Outlook or into another SmarterMail account.

Exporting All contacts
To export contacts, follow these steps:

1. Log into SmarterMail as a user or domain administrator.
2. Click Collaborate in the main toolbar.
3. Select the contact list you wish to export.
4. Click Import/Export in the actions toolbar and select Export All.

Exporting select contacts

1. Log into SmarterMail as a user or domain administrator.
2. Click Collaborate in the main toolbar.
3. Select the contact list that contains the contacts you wish to export.
4. Select the desired contacts in the preview pane.
5. Click Import/Export in the actions toolbar and select Export.
