How To - Create a Domain Alias
A domain alias allows you to point multiple Internet addresses to a single site. If you have registered 2 or more seperate domain names that you wish to point to the same site, then you can create a domain alias so that both addresses go to the same site.
For example:
Let us say that you have registered both
www.sample1.com and
www.sample2.com with a registrar, and you want both addresses to point to the same site.
Step 1:
Change the nameservers of each address at your registrar to point to DHC's nameservers:
ns1.datahostingcenter.com
ns2.datahostingcenter.com
Note: After any changes to the nameservers, it will sometimes take as long as 48-72 hours for DNS domain propogation to finalize so that your aliases work.
