| How to administer your email accounts. |
There are two locations you can administer your email account from:
1) One place is the control panel - http://control.datahostingcenter.com. If you are creating new email accounts, it is recommended to create them with the control panel.
2) The other location is by going to the smarter mail web interface - mail.yourdomain.com or www.smgui.com. Then login by entering your full email address and password. If your specific email account is not setup as a DOMAIN ADMINISTRATOR, you will not be able to administer other email accounts in the domain. Please generate a support ticket so we can correct this for you.
3) The mail.domain.com or www.smgui.com (SMGUI is a shortcut link to our mail server for convenience) is both your email administrator site as well as a place you can check your email from, this is your web-based email interface. If you create a new email account in the web interface instead of the control panel, then it will not be shown in the control panel because it is only a one-way synch, but the email account will still work normally.
If you are having problems logging into the email administrator for the first time, then please refer back to the signup emails you received from us or go to your mail options in your control panel's domain settings and look up your login settings there. You can then go back to the email login page and enter that email address as the username and your control panel password for the password.
