If you are adding a new domain or changing specific web settings within Helm, you may experience an initial delay of 2-5 minutes the first time an action is performed.
This is due to the way that some Helm servers initiate remote communications with the COM+ objects. There can sometimes be inconsistencies in the resource database and Helm has to first get past a couple of timeouts in order to complete the requested action. This only happens in certain situations and at certain times. This issue is not related to the speed of the server or the network, because regardless of speed these timeouts relating to orphaned database info will always wait a period of time before contiuing to the next action.
If this is becoming troublesome for you, just perform your first action and wait for it to complete even though it may take a while, but then any subsequent actions should occur rather quickly.
